Finance & Strategy, Compute Infrastructure

You will develop deep expertise in the economics of AI compute, from unit economics of individual training runs to long-range financial planning of the accelerator fleet. You will build financial models that inform investment decisions, own planning and forecasting for major cost centers, and translate complex technical dynamics into clear financial narratives for leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Finance lead for accelerator compute spend: budgeting, monthly forecasting, variance analysis
  • Build and maintain detailed bottoms-up financial models for accelerator infrastructure
  • Create long-range forecasts, cost driver analyses, and investment scenario modeling
  • Translate complex technical dynamics into clear financial narratives for leadership
  • Partner with infrastructure engineering teams on capital allocation decisions

Qualifications

  • 7+ years in strategic finance, infrastructure investment, private equity, growth equity, or consulting
  • Preferably with infrastructure, datacenter, or technology infrastructure experience
  • Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with technical teams
  • Track record of partnering with engineering on infrastructure investment decisions

Nice to have

  • Background in AI, ML, or high-performance computing infrastructure
  • 3+ years in cloud infrastructure financial management
  • Experience with major CSPs (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • MBA or advanced degree; proficiency in SQL and Python
